Pets are honest.
They don't pretend to like things. They don't humour the giver. They go for what they go for, and they walk past the rest.
That's what we pay attention to.
Some things they go for instantly. Some they pretend to ignore, then come back for.
Some we make. Some we source.
Some of it is practical — a snood that stops ears from joining in at dinner, an edible card that doesn't have to survive the occasion. Some of it isn't. A pattern. A flavour. Something a pet might go for, or might not.
We're not trying to build everything. Just a few things, chosen carefully.
If they go for it immediately, that's the win.
